How to Find The Venue:
Red Deer Lake Community Hall is NOT in Red Deer! It is located near the junction of Hwy 22X and Stoney Trail in the southwest corner of Calgary. Here’s the address for mapping and a map link:

This beautiful venue is nestled between several new communities on the south edge of Calgary, the prestigious Spruce Meadows and the pristine Foothills to the west. It has a fridge and microwave to store and reheat your lunch, and restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. There is nature to roam in, wildlife to spot, and an inspiring mountain view. Our hosts request that we bring indoor footwear to keep the country outside!
If you are travelling from out of town, there are plenty of AirBnB’s in the neighbouring communities of Silverado, Sirocco, Bridlewood and Priddis, and several hotels within 15 minutes of Red Deer Lake Community Hall.

Workshops in Edmonton
In Edmonton, workshops will be held at the A.J. Ottewell Centre located at 590 Broadmoor Blvd. in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Workshops run from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm unless stated otherwise in the confirmation letter. This is a new facility with lots of on-site parking, large windows and lots of light. If you have any questions or require any further details, please contact us.
- All classes in all locations will begin promptly at 9:30 am and run until 4:30 pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
- Coffee, tea and cookies will be provided and you are responsible for your own lunch. You may bring your own lunch. Information regarding restaurants for lunch will be made available at the workshop.
- Please wear or bring layers of clothing as the temperature can vary both in indoor and outdoor workshops.
- Local art stores are available and carry all the supplies that are required.
- A map and workshop supply list will be sent to you 30 days before the beginning of the workshop (or earlier if you request it).
