General Information - Getting There

Leading Edge Art Workshops listed in Calgary will be held at the Ramsay Community Centre, located at 1136 - 8 Street SE. The hall has just been newly renovated, and has large windows, good lighting and lots of free parking. A location map will be included with your info package after you register. Calgary is a short drive from Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains. The Lakeview Conumity Centre is a large, quiet, private facility with lots of good light, plenty of nearby parking, and it is wheelchair accessible.

Winnipeg workshops are held at the Kartum Shriners Centre centrally located at 1155 Wilkes Avenue. The Centre is a lovely new building, and has lots of free parking. For help with accomodation information for beautiful Winnipeg, please call Ruby Bennett at 204 488 0043.

All classes in all locations will begin promptly at 9:30am and run until 4:30pm with a one-hour break for lunch. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided and you are responsible for your own lunch. Please wear or bring layers of clothing, the temperature can vary both in the workshop buildings as well as in all prairie locations. Local art stores are available and will carry all the supplies that are required. A map and a workshop supply list will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration.
