Karin Huehold is a well-known Calgary area artist. Her paintings depict a deep and sensitive bond to her home in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of southern Alberta in Canada. Living as an artist in this wonderful setting provides Karin with a continual source of inspiration outdoors and in her studio.

Best known for her watercolors, Karin also includes many other mediums in her work to express texture, color and mood. Her work ranges from simple to elaborate, revealing the artist's impressions of the world around us. She is a member of several art groups including the Federation of Canadian Artists. She has shown her work widely and is included in many private and corporate collections.

Karin teaches many workshops. She has a wonderful sense of humour and the focus of her workshops is to encourage students to develop their own personal style and to have a lot of fun! She also teaches creative sessions for conventions, retreats and business groups.
