Pattern, colour and texture are important focuses in her work and she likes to work with acrylic, collage and mixed media. She works in a wide variety of subject matter including abstracts, florals and landscape. Quilting and gardening have been two of her passions over the years and this influence shows up in her combinations of floral and geometric shapes. Louise shows her work with the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Riverview Artists and the Calgary Artists Society.
