Diane Eason, a native of Saskatoon, Canada, produces art works ranging from landscape to still life, and
from realism to abstract.
Diane captures a simplistic beauty in her paintings. Her most recent works deal with the "building" of three dimensional
paintings designed to invite the viewer into the picture. The textured backgrounds create unusual and unique art works.
Primarily self-taught, Diane in addition to attending many varied and diverse workshops, has studied at the
University of Calgary, AB, the Alberta College of Art, the Red Deer Art
College, the Jon Williams Studio in Calgary, Leading Edge Art Workshops in Calgary, and with renowned water colourist
Zoltan Szabo. Gerald Brommer, collage and watercolor instructor has had a strong influence on her work. Diane is a juried
member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Sun City Grand Art Club, and The Vanguard Group, the latter
operating out of Greater Phoenix's West Valley Museum.
Her art works currently appear in a number of Canadian corporate collections as well as numerous private collections
throughout Canada and the United States.
