Online Workshop Description
ACRYLICS: THE WONDER MEDIUM
Six Sunday mornings - . January 8, 15, 22, 29 and February 5 and 12, 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm Pacific Time
This workshop is designed for those fairly new to acrylic landscape painting. It will build from learning to work with the best materials to working with the acrylic medium to planning and creating landscape paintings. The six-week Zoom course will have a weekly three-hour Zoom session which will include a PowerPoint presentation, exercises and a demo. The sessions will be videoed for future viewing and notes will be provided. A dedicated Facebook Group will be used between sessions for sharing homework and other information. Want to get to the next level acrylic painter – this is your chance.
Participants will be encouraged to paint along as Brian does his demos. Participants will be encouraged to join a follow-up Facebook group for sharing and discussing.
After each weekly session, participants will be able to post their work on a private Facebook page for Brian's comments and suggestions. And videos of the demos will be posted to Dropbox, and will be available for two weeks after the demo.

Here is a testimonial from Dixie Baum, who has attended and hosted several of Brian's workshops:
Before Brian became a painter, he was a university professor. His skill as a teacher really shows up in the way he organizes and presents information and the fun and encouraging learning environment he creates. He understands how people learn and what is essential for artists to know in order to become better painters. He presents condensed and foundational principals in a way that is easy to grasp and follows it up with painting exercises and demonstrations that make it crystal clear. I have taken several of his workshops and have been fortunate enough to take some workshops more than once. It’s easy to do given how much information is packed in. My painting and confidence improves each time. I am grateful for all I have learned, and I highly recommend his workshops.
